“Little Shop Of Horrors”
Directed by Jon Zierden
Choreographed by Madison Williams and Lenka M. Juric
Musical Direction by Sydney Circle and Camila Arnold

Arts Off Broadway is excited to announce its premier adult production of “Little Shop of Horrors”. President, Marie Verger, who founded the successful children’s theatre “Arts Off Broadway” and “Broadway Theatre Arts Academy” in 2001, is thrilled to announce the new adult community theatre. The community theatre is filled with experienced talented professional individuals, from the directors to the actors, which elevate the show to a superior stage.

“Little Shop Of Horrors” is about a nerdish florist who finds his chance for success and romance with the help of a giant puppetry plant who demands to be fed in the hit musical. One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of 1950's sci-fi movies has become a house-hold name, thanks to a highly successful film version and a score by the songwriting team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, who redefined animated musical films with Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”, “Beauty And The Beast” and “Aladdin.” Charming, tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, “Little Shop Of Horrors” never fails to entertain.

This fun and exciting show will be presented at the beautiful California Center for the Arts, Escondido, and to kick off the show wine and cheese will be available on opening night Saturday, June 7th, 2008.
