Scholarships available

$100 (for ages 18 and younger) Current membership discounts applicable. (Click here to see membership discounts) Members who joined during 2009 have free tuition. Members who joined during 2010 have half price tuition.

Production Fees: $85 (for ages 18 and younger) Includes DVD, costume and script (Discount to $45 for siblings does not include DVD)
Materials Fees: $40 (for ages 19 and older) Includes DVD, specialized costume garments and script)
Ticket Requirements: Each cast member is responsible for selling 10 tickets. Discounted prices for tickets are provided for cast members.

Audition Instructions:

Bring a headshot/photo of yourself, that we can keep, sheet music for the accompanist or a cued CD or IPOD, and prepare to sing a song that best displays your vocal range.

Also, have two contrasting monologues ready to perform. One should be a comedy and the other classical or serious. Each selection should be no more the one minute in length. For first time performers parents please prepare them to recite a poem or story. (Example: Lyrics to verse of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star".)

Arts Off Broadway is conducting a monologue workshop to help actors develop the skill for auditioning. Through very specific exercises students will learn methods that are used by professional artists to capture the attention of an audience and cultivate dynamics needed to make interesting choices for characters.
